چکیده
ABSTRACT We have performed a frequency analysis of 10 092 ? Scuti-type stars detected in the fourth phase Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment towards Galactic bulge, which is most numerous homogeneous sample Scuti observed so far. The main goal was to search for pulsating at least two radial modes simultaneously. found 3083 candidates such stars, largest set obtained date. Among them, 2655 pulsate modes, 414 three and 14 four same time. report identification 221 fundamental mode, first overtone, third overtone show populated Petersen Bailey diagrams discuss statistical properties identified frequencies based on this sample. Additionally, we present theoretical predictions period ratios overtones from seventh.

Lensing of unresolved stars towards the Galactic Bulge
This paper presents an analysis of lensing of unresolved background stars. Previous calculations of the lensing rates and optical depths considered only resolved stars. However, if a faint unresolved star lens is close enough to a resolved star, the event will be seen by the microlensing experiments and attributted to the bighter star. The blending biases the duration, making the contribution o...
متن کاملChromospherically Active Stars in the Galactic Bulge
We present the results from the discovery and study of ∼ 3000 chromospherically active giant and subgiant stars toward the Galactic bulge. We find that these stars are predominantly RS CVn binaries with rotation periods between 10 and 100 days. We discover that the average rotational period of these stars decreases with their distance from the Galactic plane. We find that the primary stars in t...
متن کاملCentral Stars of Planetary Nebulae in the Galactic Bulge
Context. Optical high-resolution spectra of five central stars of planetary nebulae (CSPN) in the Galactic bulge have been obtained with Keck/HIRES in order to derive their parameters. Since the distance of the objects is quite well known, such a method has the advantage that stellar luminosities and masses can in principle be determined without relying on theoretical relations between both qua...
متن کاملSpatial Diffusion of Stars in the Inner Galactic Bulge
Star formation in the inner few hundred pc of the Galactic bulge occurs in a flattened molecular layer called the central molecular zone (CMZ). Serabyn & Morris (1996) suggest that the star formation in the CMZ has been sustained for the lifetime of the Galaxy, and that the resulting agglomeration of stars formed in the CMZ has resulted in the prominent r−2 stellar density cusp at the Galactic ...
متن کاملLi-rich RGB stars in the Galactic Bulge
Aims. We present Lithium abundance determination for a sample of K giant stars in the galactic bulge. The stars presented here are the only 13 stars with detectable Lithium line (6767.18Å) among ∼400 stars for which we have spectra in this wavelength range, half of them in Baade’s Window (b = −4) and half in a field at b = −6. Methods. The stars were observed with the GIRAFFE spectrograph of FL...
